For the first time, image- and text-based clas\u00adsi\u00adfiers were combined in an inte\u00adgrated approach. The results are impres\u00adsive and take the insurance group\u2019s input manage\u00adment to a new level.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the title \u201eCognitive Clas\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion \u2013 Automated Image Reco\u00adgni\u00adtion with Deep Learning Tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies\u201c, we will present the joint project at the con\u00adfe\u00adrence. For many years, Debeka has been using Insiders Tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies\u2018 solutions very suc\u00adcessfully for division sepa\u00adra\u00adtion, clas\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion and pro\u00adces\u00adsing of incoming documents. <\/p>\n

However, the correct reco\u00adgni\u00adtion of image-based incoming documents such as ID cards, cer\u00adti\u00adfi\u00adcates or photos of accident damage or real estate proved to be difficult or even impos\u00adsible for the purely text-based clas\u00adsi\u00adfiers. Con\u00adse\u00adquently, some of these document classes had to be clas\u00adsi\u00adfied com\u00adple\u00adtely manually until now. This gave rise to the idea of extending the classic clas\u00adsi\u00adfier to include image clas\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion using Deep Learning. The new Cognitive Clas\u00adsi\u00adfier from Insiders combines the two clas\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion methods of text and image reco\u00adgni\u00adtion intel\u00adli\u00adgently and seam\u00adlessly. <\/p>\n

The Cognitive Clas\u00adsi\u00adfier provides an enormous auto\u00adma\u00adtion effect at Debeka: In the Home Loan and Savings division, where most images accu\u00admu\u00adlate, the re-entry rate is now less than 16 percent. <\/p>\n
