Whether by pre-struc\u00adtured order form, by freely for\u00admu\u00adlated e\u2011mail or simply as a file attach\u00adment \u2013 the orders received daily are as varied as the more than 150,000 products and services offered by the largest inde\u00adpen\u00addent material dis\u00adtri\u00adbutor and service provider in the Western world. And with more than 250,000 customers in over 30 countries worldwide, this results in an enormous hete\u00adro\u00adgen\u00adeity of order documents every day.<\/p>\n<p>In order to suc\u00adcessfully manage this volume, notably reduce the manual labor required in the process, and increase effi\u00adci\u00adency in order pro\u00adces\u00adsing, TKMX has now optimized their entire order process with a smart product made by Insiders.<\/p>\n<p>After a com\u00adpre\u00adhen\u00adsive eva\u00adlua\u00adtion, the Digital Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy Office opted for smart ORDER, the tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcally leading standard product for automated document pro\u00adces\u00adsing. From now on thanks to smart ORDER\u2019s intel\u00adli\u00adgent document reading and pro\u00adces\u00adsing, a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant pro\u00adpor\u00adtion of the inquiries and orders received via e\u2011mail will be processed com\u00adple\u00adtely auto\u00adma\u00adti\u00adcally. The extensive auto\u00adma\u00adtion thus not only ensures signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly faster order pro\u00adces\u00adsing, but also opens up potential in sales by providing more time for indi\u00advi\u00addual customer support.<\/p>\n<p>Using AI-based data capture, all necessary order infor\u00adma\u00adtion is captured within a wide variety of documents, missing infor\u00adma\u00adtion is forwarded to a post-processor, and the extracted data is exported to the respec\u00adtive process auto\u00adma\u00adtion system.<\/p>\n<p>Within just eight weeks, the Insiders project team, together with the Digital Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy Office and the digital garage of thys\u00adsen\u00adkrupp Schulte GmbH, set up a pilot version and rolled it out initially throug\u00adhout Germany following an intensive test phase. After only six weeks, all sales offices in Germany were already working suc\u00adcessfully with smart ORDER and the inter\u00adna\u00adtional roll-out to other companies was started. Today, more than 600 users at more than 80 locations in nine countries work with the solution in ten TKMX companies worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the time needed to process the orders has thus been noti\u00adce\u00adably reduced without rest\u00adric\u00adting customers\u2018 fle\u00adxi\u00adbi\u00adlity when placing them.
