Nevert\u00adheless, less than half \u2013 45% \u2013 of German companies are still able to receive e\u2011invoices. This is the result of a recent survey by the digital asso\u00adcia\u00adtion Bitkom. Insiders sees an urgent need for action and points out the central importance of flexible and future-proof solutions.<\/p>\n The repre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtive Bitkom study, for which 1,103 companies with 20 or more employees in Germany were surveyed, shows that many companies are strugg\u00adling with the multitude of standards and transport channels for receiving e\u2011invoices. Email remains the main channel for invoices \u2013 according to the study, prac\u00adti\u00adcally all companies currently use email to send invoices, for example in the form of PDF files \u2013 more than half still use letter post. Larger companies are incre\u00adasingly relying on stan\u00addar\u00addized processes such as Peppol. In order to meet these requi\u00adre\u00adments, solutions are needed that cover all common standards and formats and at the same time can react flexibly to different company requi\u00adre\u00adments.<\/p>\n Fur\u00adther\u00admore, e\u2011invoicing goes far beyond just receiving and sending. The key added values include automated checking of the form and content of invoice content, detection of anomalies, dark pro\u00adces\u00adsing if the order reference is correct, inte\u00adgra\u00adtion into approval processes and auto-assign\u00adment.
