Since data pro\u00adtec\u00adtion requests are subject to response deadlines, a high degree of precision is required here.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In the past, the pro\u00adces\u00adsing of hand\u00adwritten documents or hand\u00adwritten notes on documents, poorly pho\u00adto\u00adgra\u00adphed receipts, or scanned incoming mail with imprecise grayscale tones often had to be done manually\u2014with the cor\u00adre\u00adspon\u00adding personnel costs and pro\u00adces\u00adsing times. With Microsoft OCR inte\u00adgrated via ILFO, hand\u00adwri\u00adting reco\u00adgni\u00adtion in par\u00adti\u00adcular has been signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly improved and the number of documents requiring manual post-pro\u00adces\u00adsing has been reduced by half.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The pro\u00adces\u00adsing of scanned or pho\u00adto\u00adgra\u00adphed documents has also been signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly optimized, so that around 75,000 documents per year no longer need to be processed manually.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Since the quality of text reco\u00adgni\u00adtion has also been improved for machine-generated documents, keyword searches for clas\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion purposes also deliver signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly better results. New document classes can be easily developed by the team itself, quickly trained, and put into pro\u00adduc\u00adtion.
