Beyond E\u2011Invoicing \u2013 Insiders on What does the future hold for digital invoice pro\u00adces\u00adsing? This question was the focus of the E\u2011Invoice Summit 2025 \u2013 and Insiders was right in the thick of it. Together with experts from business, admi\u00adnis\u00adtra\u00adtion, and politics, we discussed where the journey is headed: from mandatory e\u2011invoicing to smart, automated end-to-end processes. Insiders is therefore working inten\u00adsi\u00advely on ways to make purchase-to-pay processes even faster and better. E\u2011finance is con\u00adsis\u00adt\u00adently taking e\u2011invoicing to the next level and using state-of-the-art AI in other related com\u00admer\u00adcial processes. In his keynote speech \u201cBeyond E\u2011Invoicing \u2013 Intel\u00adli\u00adgent P2P Auto\u00adma\u00adtion with Insiders,\u201d our Head of Channel Manage\u00adment Alexander Swienty showed why the focus should not be solely on struc\u00adtured invoicing. Only through holistic auto\u00adma\u00adtion along the entire P2P chain can real effi\u00adci\u00adency gains be achieved. This means that e\u2011invoicing is the beginning \u2013 not the goal.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cOur vision goes far beyond pure e\u2011invoicing. We look at the entire e\u2011finance process and develop solutions that enable companies to achieve real effi\u00adci\u00adency gains,\u201d explains Swienty. \u201cThe dis\u00adcus\u00adsions at the e\u2011invoicing summit showed that our strategy is precisely where the need lies. Now it\u2019s a matter of effi\u00adci\u00adently lever\u00adaging the added value that e\u2011invoicing creates.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n Key added value includes automated formal and content-based checking of invoice content, detection of anomalies, dark pro\u00adces\u00adsing for correct order refe\u00adrences, and inte\u00adgra\u00adtion into approval processes. A highlight of the pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion was the intro\u00adduc\u00adtion of Insiders\u2018 LLM-based auto-accounting\u2014an intel\u00adli\u00adgent solution that signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly sim\u00adpli\u00adfies and acce\u00adle\u00adrates accoun\u00adting processes. Insiders\u2018 intel\u00adli\u00adgent auto-accoun\u00adting relies on AI \u2013 including super\u00advised learning \u2013 to automate the assign\u00adment of cost centers, cost units, and accounts, identify the usual approvers of documents, and generate meaningful posting texts. The solution observes and learns from his\u00adto\u00adrical ERP data in order to make bookings precisely and indi\u00advi\u00addu\u00adally for each customer. In addition to modular solutions from Insiders, customers can also opt for a com\u00adpre\u00adhen\u00adsive e\u2011invoice solution that combines all the building blocks, enabling intel\u00adli\u00adgent invoice manage\u00adment with exchange across all common formats \u2013 from paper to e\u2011invoices \u2013 and offering certified Peppol access. Our con\u00adclu\u00adsion: E\u2011invoicing is coming \u2013 and with it the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtally rethink processes.
